About Anne-Gro Salmen

As an experienced physiotherapist specializing in neurorehabilitation, Anne-Gro Salmen never compromises on treatment quality and therapy success. She is a Forced Use Specialist and an instructor for Forced Use Therapy according to Utley/Woll. As a therapist and trainer, she supports her clients on their journey to achieve their goals. The individual concepts of her company, BrainRaise Neurorehabilitation, are anything but conventional. The needs and goals of the clients are at the forefront.

Her training as a physiotherapist in Damp, Northern Germany, marked the beginning of her journey into this complex field. Since 2008, Anne-Gro Salmen has been living and working in Switzerland. With her specialization in neurorehabilitation, she has found her professional focus. She applies her experience and knowledge to assist and accompany individuals with impairments caused by injuries or neurological conditions on their path to recovery. Empathy, a passion for her work, and sensitivity form the basis for collaborative work on therapy goals.

Another focus of Anne-Gro Salmen is training and educating occupational and physiotherapists who wish to further their expertise in neurorehabilitation, particularly in stroke treatment. She conducts courses in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.
